Tyse and Anthony’s Panama City wedding was a romantic celebration infused with culture, meaning, and effortless elegance. Their weekend began with an intimate family dinner in Casco Viejo, followed by cocktails with close friends at a hidden speakeasy—setting the tone for a celebration rooted in connection.
Panama City Wedding Ceremony
On the wedding day, Tyse wore a beaded ivory gown by Ines Di Santo, paired with a cathedral-length veil. Anthony donned a custom three-piece suit with gold hardware by Atelier by Shawn M Horton. Set in the heart of Panama City, the ceremony took place at The Ruins, part of Hotel La Compañía. An architectural treasure that once served as a 17th-century convent. Destroyed by pirates but still standing, the venue became a symbol of the couple’s shared strength and enduring love.
Guests were welcomed into a romantic setting with all-white florals, soft candlelight, and a clear tent that revealed the evening sky. The beautiful ceremony featured live violin music, traditional vows, and tributes to their late fathers, with reserved front-row seats and white roses placed in their honor. As Tyse’s brother walked her down the aisle, then passed her to her stepfather before reaching Anthony. The moment felt deeply sacred and unforgettable.
Reception with elegant details mixed with culture
Following the heartfelt ceremony, the couple revealed a reception space designed to wow the guests! A mirrored dance floor reflected dramatic florals, chandeliers, and soft draping that softened the tented space. A clear vision of modern romance came to life with neutral tones, custom linen menus printed with a sketch of The Ruins, and a show-stopping four-tier pistachio cake elegantly framed beneath an arch of florals. Instead of a formal plated dinner, Tyse and Anthony opted for food stations featuring both Panamanian and American cuisine, including a standout ceviche bar that encouraged guests to mingle and explore.
The evening’s energy only grew when two belly dancers—dressed to match the wedding palette—performed in a vibrant tribute to Tyse’s Middle Eastern heritage. As the music transitioned from romantic to celebratory, guests danced to a fusion of cultural sounds that honored both sides of the couple’s background. For Tyse, watching Anthony’s Panamanian family dance to Persian music became one of the most emotional moments of the night.
