When these two dear friends of mine asked me to fly out to Georgia to shoot their engagement session, I was stoked! Fast forward 3 months, and had I known we were going to get the images we did, I probably would have flown out sooner!
Becca and Alex met back in high school and started dating shortly after. I met Becca in Athens when we were both students at The University of Georgia. #GoDawgs It’s crazy to think it’s been 6 years since then! So many things have changed, but one thing that hasn’t has been their love for one another, and I’m so happy for them!
The two of them go so well together. Just being around them, it’s so apparent how much love they have for each other. It makes me smile knowing one of my very best friends found her person and gets to marry him soon.
The day we got to shoot their engagement session, the weather couldn’t have been any better! It was 70 degrees, the sun was shining, and everything was green and blooming. It was GORGEOUS! McDaniel Farm Park was the perfect place too! It had all the old historical southern buildings, and the white houses with white columns and wrap around porches — I tell you, my heart was made for Georgia! It was stunning!
Alex and Becca, I am so unbelievably happy for you both! Thank you for bringing me out to Georgia to hang out. I can’t wait for October to come back and celebrate with y’all when you tie the knot… finally! 😉
