We all stood and watched as he slowly walked her down the aisle. In his face, you could see so much emotion. He tried to keep it together. As he got closer, his chin began to quiver. He reached over and gave his sister a hug. Everyone in the crowd felt that hug; how much love and how many memories were behind that hug; how proud he was of his sister; and just how honored he was to be giving her away. I’m crying just writing this. It was so powerful and such a beautiful moment.

This was the sentiment shared the entire day at Brandon and Kayla’s Rustic Boho Wedding at The Wilderness Wedding Barn in Bigfork, Minnesota. Many of their guests traveled in from all over the country to celebrate with these two and it was really remarkable. It must have been all the guests bringing the sunshine from where they were from because the weather called for rain all. day. long. and somehow, we hardly got any. It was a miracle. The sun even came out. And I know some of you reading this are probably like, so what? The sun came out. Big deal? I don’t think you understand. In Minnesota, if it calls for clouds, you get clouds and then rain. If it calls for sun, chances are you’ll get rain. And if it calls for rain, you might as well just bring a jacket and an umbrella because the chances of it not* raining are slim to none. When I say this was a miracle, it was a MIRACLE and we were all here 👏🏻 for 👏🏻 it 👏🏻!

The rest of the night was spent having a great time with great company! Some tried their hand at corn hole and the other various yard games the venue had out, some drank and socialized in the courtyard, and some simply danced their hearts out inside to good music. It was, hands down, just the best.

Kayla and Brandon, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for allowing me the privilege to capture your love on one of the biggest days of your lives. It was absolutely magical and one I’ll never forget. I’m so incredibly excited for you both as you begin your forever together.
