When Dalton and Sarah found themselves spending time in Savannah, they decided it was the perfect excuse for a Wormsloe Park Portrait Session. They were already married by the time these photos were taken. However, they wanted beautiful images together in one of Georgia’s most iconic locations. Looking through these photographs, it is easy to see why they chose Wormsloe.
Their story actually began years earlier at Georgia College. The two met in a social media management marketing class while they were both students. Today, Sarah still works in that field, which makes their meeting story even sweeter. Although they met in class, they did not start dating right away. Instead, their relationship began during their junior year of college.
A few years later, Dalton planned a surprise Sarah never saw coming.
One evening, he told her he had a work event. Instead, he had planned a proposal. After she said yes, they celebrated with dinner. Soon after, family and friends joined them to continue the celebration. It was the beginning of a new chapter that eventually led to their wedding at Barnsley Resort.
Today, Dalton and Sarah spend their days enjoying married life with their dog, Scout. More importantly, Sarah describes Dalton as her biggest supporter. Spending time with them, it is easy to see the friendship and encouragement that sits at the center of their relationship.

Wormsloe also has a fascinating history. The property was established by Noble Jones, one of Georgia’s earliest settlers, who arrived in 1733. Today, visitors can explore the historic grounds, walk nature trails, and learn about the site’s role in Georgia’s early history.

One of my favorite things about this session was how relaxed it felt.
Sarah wore a floral dress from H&M paired with Antonio Melani shoes. Her jewelry added meaningful details throughout the session. She wore a gold band from her mother, and they share matching rings. Her engagement ring came from Solvan Brothers, while her diamond band and watch were from Tara Fine Jewelry.
Dalton kept his look classic with Martin Dingman shoes and a matching belt. Together, their outfits complemented the soft colors and natural beauty of Wormsloe perfectly.
As we explored the property, we moved between the famous oak-lined road and the surrounding greenery. Some moments were playful. Others felt romantic. Throughout the afternoon, however, the focus remained on the connection between them.
This portrait session reminded me that the best photographs often come from simply spending time together.
